TOP 5 RPG'S IN 2020
2020 has been quite the year so far. We are currently going through the Coronavirus and can not get within 6 feet of each other. However, there are plenty of things to be excited about. One of the most exciting things in 2020 is the continued increase in technology when it comes to Role-Playing Games (RPGs). There are quite a few RPGs are coming out in 2020. However, we are only going to look at my top 5 RPGs coming out in 2020.
5. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
The first game is a PC game from TaleWorlds Entertainment and is being released today! Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is the prequel to the original Mount & Blade: Warband, which was released in 2008, and will take place several hundreds of years earlier. However, even though this game takes place in an earlier time, you can expect to have siege game play still in it. You can also expect to have the opportunity to make weapons and participate in an economy. When playing this game, you will have the opportunity to play by yourself or with others online. Online gaming blogs need to put this on their list for sure.
4. Tales of Arise
The second game can reach more people than Mount & Blade, due to the ability to reach people on multiple different platforms. Gaming Blogs are talking about Tales of Arise will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. This game will take place in two different worlds. One of those worlds will be in medieval times, and one of those worlds with be an advanced technology world. There will be a group of travelers that come from these two worlds, and they travel together. The gameplay is expected to follow a similar path from the first game Tales of Berseria. This game will also have the expected Motion Battle System for combat. While the exact release date is not known, it is expected to be released in 2020.
3. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel
The next game on the list is only available for Nintendo Switch, and that is not surprising at all. While this game might only be restricted to those users who have the switch, those who do will get the opportunity to experience one of the best installments of the Legend of Zelda. The original Breath of the Wild was arguably one of the best games in 2017, but the sequel will have the ability to be one of the best games in 2020. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel will have the opportunity to explore a vast and open world. The open world will make this game a great RPG. The sequel is expected to be released sometime in 2020. However, the Zelda series has had some delays in the past, so this game might not be released until 2021.
2. Final Fantasy VII Remake
The next game on the list is one that fans have been waiting years for. Final Fantasy VII remake will be available to those with Playstation 4’s in 2020 and those with Xbox in 2021. This game will focus on a similar story as the original. This will help the people who played the original. However, there will be new features. This game will have new characters, new locations and will also have an extended Midgar section. This game will also feature a combat system, and you can also play multiplayer. This game will also not be released all at once. Instead, Final Fantasy VII remake will be released in parts. Gaming blogs are hot on this one!
1. Cyberpunk 2077
While all the other games have been great, and there are undoubtedly many games to look forward to in 2020, none of them are number 1. Instead, that title goes to Cyberpunk 2077, and luckily, Cyberpunk 2077 will be released to those using PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox. Cyberpunk 2077 takes place in the future where greed and crime have taken over. Players try to get more street cred so that they can get bigger gigs. This game has an open world, but this game will also a campaign mode. Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be released in April of 2020.
2020 is undoubtedly going to be one of those years that we will always remember. However, while we might think the world is ending, there is plenty of good things happening in 2020. For fans of role-playing games, this also might be one of those years to remember. There are plenty of games to look forward to, and while you are trapped in social distancing, you might as well take advantage of these new games.
